1) Half-day nature and arts retreats for youth aged 9-19.

2) Bi-monthly community creative expression and nature outings.

3) Weekly in-community pauses to gather.

4) Daily and weekly virtual pauses for individuals.

Summer – Fall Pilot Phase

Overview of in-person programs:

We aim to create a new positive standard for mental well-being and human connectedness in young people in the tri-county area of Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties. We will be growing responsibly nationally and internationally.

During our Summer-Fall 2022 Pilot phase, we will begin to offer and adapt for optimal success: half-day retreats, and daily activities rooted in mind-body-based and experienced through the five senses (sight, taste, touch, hearing, smell) and movement. Our signature and partner programs foster positive levels of self-esteem, creativity, clarity, peace, and community – through nature awareness, self-care, creative arts, and human connection.

Services are complimentary for ages 9-19, Veterans, and Native Americans. Upon arrival cell phones are checked in, and guests choose free or structured activities. During 5-hour field trips, there is much to do and learn with focus on STEAM and mindfulness. Cameras, binoculars, art supplies, musical instruments, farming, animals, and healing modalities replace screen dependency.

All activities are co-designed and measured with community organizations specializing in youth mental, physical and emotional wellness, as well as our Academic Institutional partner, UC Irvine Program of Public Health.

We aim to host approximately 50-100 youth during the months of July and August in a variety of in-person and virtual programs by partnering with existing youth and community organizations in order to be positioned to offer planned school field trips in the Fall.
